As you might expect, there are plenty of things to do for fun when you have a Santa Ana zip code. While you might not have all the amenities within easy reach that you would if you were staying at a Toronto B & B, the population and urban density of our city does guarantee that there is something fun to do almost all the time. Let's take a look at some of the most popular options.

Sports

When it comes to amateur level sports, Santa Ana is one of the most exciting cities in the United States. Every year, thousands of local residents pack into the stands as R&B, hip hop music plays and the Mater Die High School football team takes the field. This is one of the most successful and well built school franchises in the entire nation.

Soccer is the most popular sport in the city, at several different levels. The Dons of Santa Ana College are notable for their storied success both in the state and in the country. A former Mississauga caterer once noted that the Dons were one of the best assets to area businesses, thanks to the many victory parties they caused throughout the city each year.

Culture

Being right on the border has its cultural advantages. Santa Ana is a thriving home of the arts of many different cultures, and Mexican art is prominent among them. You can take in displays or attend faux painting classes at centers such as CSUF, the Sol Art Gallery, or the Bowers Museum.

Nature

The warm climate of Santa Ana means that there is plenty to do outside, both in and out of the city limits. The ocean and the famous California countryside are not far away in either direction, so you can surf and hike both in the same day.

Inside the city, there are several places to take in the grandeur of nature. Spend an afternoon learning about local and global wildlife at the Santa Ana Zoo, best known for its primate collection. Or, take in the flora at the Historic Floral Park in the heart of the city.

You can also enjoy world class golf at Riverview, Willowick, or one of the other dozen courses within the city. It's a great thing to do while your significant other (male or female!) learns how to sell used jewelry through a training course offered at the local community college.
